Norovirus

Norovirus is a highly contagious virus that causes vomiting and diarrhea, commonly referred to as the "stomach bug." It spreads quickly through contaminated food, water, surfaces, or close contact with infected individuals. Symptoms typically appear 12 to 48 hours after exposure and last for 1 to 3 days. Parents can help prevent its spread by encouraging proper handwashing, disinfecting surfaces, and avoiding sharing food or utensils.
