Psychological Services & Counseling

Pediatric Associates collaborates with LifeStance Health to provide integrated behavioral health services. Alexis Lane, a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker, supports children, adolescents, and emerging adults throughout Massachusetts.
Alexis is onsite weekly on Tuesdays within our practice, serving as an Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) Clinician. This approach enables our patients and families to receive mental health support in a trusted, familiar environment, with close coordination between Alexis and our pediatric care team.
The goal of IBH services is to conduct an initial intake to assess a child’s presenting emotional and behavioral health concerns and develop an appropriate care plan. This may include brief, solution-focused sessions with Alexis to help patients better understand their symptoms and build effective coping skills. Services may also include caregiver consultations to provide guidance and strategies for supporting children with complex behavioral health needs.
IBH services are designed to serve as a bridge to mental health care—whether for short-term support or connection to longer-term resources. Alexis assists families in accessing community-based services, including outpatient therapy, group therapy, psychiatric medication management, neuropsychological testing, and parent support programs.
Alexis works with diverse populations, including youth involved in adoption or foster care, individuals on the autism spectrum, and LGBTQ+ patients, ranging in age from 3 to 26. Her collaborative, patient-centered approach supports the development of practical coping skills, emotional regulation, and increased self-confidence.
