Our History

Pediatric Associates at Northwoods is committed to providing top-notch care for children and adolescents, from birth to age 21. The practice has grown from its humble beginnings in 1989 with Dr. Frank Tomase and Beth Tomase, PNP to a team of dedicated professionals including Dr. Patricia Silvia, Dr. Elizabeth McQuaid, Dr. Mark Acker and Dr. Lynne Fasanello all of whom have been together since residency. We welcomed Dr. Shayan Sengupta in 2023, as part of our commitment to continued growth.

We believe in a primary care model, where every family has their own dedicated pediatrician. Additionally, we collaborate as a cohesive team to provide comprehensive care. 

This continuity fosters trust and confidence among the families we serve. 

We practice “small town” medicine, enjoying a partnership with our parents who have entrusted their children’s care in our hands. We prioritize listening to each child’s unique needs, ensuring that they receive personalized attention and treatment. 

Our partnerships with Affiliated Pediatric Practices, Mass General Hospital for Children and Newton Wellesley Hospital demonstrate our commitment to providing comprehensive evidence-based care. These nationally renowned resources enhance the quality of our care and provide families with access to a broader network of resources and expertise.
